Hooks are needle sharp. The size 10's I purchased won't allow Senyo's Thin Intruder wire to be used to tie intruders but given the size of these hooks, I use Maxima 6lb Chameleon mono doubled over to provide 12lbs breaking strength which is perfect for fishing on small creeks using my micro spey outfit. Highly recommended!
