I've just installed this hook rail and it works wonderfully against my white slightly textured wall. I like the way it has 3 mounting points for additional support and greater flexibility when installing it. I was able to hook it onto a stud in the middle and the right side. I had to use a molly bolt to anchor the left side but that's not too bad and in no way affects the usability. I used 1/8 drill bit with a #2 Phillps bit to install the screws into the wood studs and a 5/32 (I'm not to sure if I did use this size, maybe 1/4) drill bit to install the molly bolt on the left.My only complaint was that the molly bolts weren't included in the hardware bag of the product. Luckily I had 2 molly bolts that were 1/8 in size just lying around which was just enough to cover my one molly bolt configuration.All in all it's a nice design and has at least one more anchor point than most coat rails which was a must in my search criteria. Make sure to buy 1/8 sized molly bolts along with this to avoid the inconvenience.
