We had Fleetwood multi-panel doors installed and even Fleetwood said there was no other solution than using the key lock they install in their doors. This is a solution that has worked extremely well.There are some negative comments about this lock, but it appears mostly from those that either did not have professional installation or are simply not capable of the expertise required to install.I am a surgeon but have done construction all my life. The tolerances for installing this lock are extremely tight. If you are very careful about installation it works perfectly. I you are 5 mm off, it won't work and you may have 'burned a bridge' in correcting it. "measure twice, cut once".The second criticism is programming. It actually is quite easy and took me less than 10 minutes. HOWEVER, you must understand the instructions and follow them explicitly or you could create a disaster.This is not for the 'average' "Do IT Yourself". project. If you don't possess the skills to install and program, then hire them and you will be very happy.PDNWas going to return this product but, figured out how to install it. A little hard to decipher the instructions.the lock is sticky and very difficult to get to latch. Not worth the money.
