The LH10 is based on a standardized design and is equivalent in size and strength to existing size 10 grade 10 alloy steel self-locking hooks. Unlike existing self-locking hooks, the LH10 is constructed entirely from stainless steel and is designed to withstand harsh marine environments where regular alloy steel hooks inevitably rust and seize up. The forged 17-4 PH stainless steel components are heat treated to a specific condition to ensure immunity to corrosion cracking. For customers looking for increased security and safety, the LH10 is available with a high visibility safety yellow powder coated finish.
