Very durableGreat shorts. Got them as a gift for my husband, and he loves them.I bought these for my hubby, who had 3 pairs of Buggle Boy shorts that were his favorites but sadly finally wore out after 20 years...gee, imagine that!! These were a very similar design so thought I'd surprise him. Guys...these come in several different inseams so check the description first. I bought a 5" and 7" inseam. The 5" was too short for his liking. He kept the 7", but if I were buying any more, I'd look for a longer yet inseam. Look for the "Longneck" version. The elastic gussets in the side waistbands are great. Bought. 34, he is in between--a 35, but 36's are too big on his skinny butt and legs, so 34" fit great because of the elastic. I will say and he did, too, that the crotch or rise is a bit snug on him. The designers could have done a better job, down there for guys shorts.Ladies...I was preparing to send the 5" shorts back, when I decided to try them on myself. I'm a tall woman 5'9"and actually about the same size as hubby. These shorts fit me perfectly and I am in love with them. For a woman, I absolutely HATE low rise shorts/pants as they won't stay up. These came up to my natural waist and STAY THERE. Again, could have been a bit longer in the inseam, but they were as advertised and I should have looked closer. I love the pockets, the elastic, the fabric is heavy weight and should hold up. Brass zippers, plastic D ring, though. After washing, fit is still good.If for any reason Hubby doesn't wear his 7" inseam pair, I'll snatch them up for myself in a heartbeat. I'm a former farm girl, outdoors person, and not much of a fashionista. I love these shorts for working in. My new favorites, if not his.Very comfortable shorts, with great tech pockets.They are made well, they are comfortable and the style is great!How does this go "My men wear beer can shorts or they wear nothing at all" I boight into that and have worn nothing but beer can shorts except for the rare occasion of a suit.These shorts are as advertised. They are tough, durable material and still look good after a day on the boat. I am short 5'7" so most shorts are too long for me. These have a short inseam which suits me well without alteration.They are durable and stand up to a lot of abuse. The " beer can " pocket is also useful for holding your phone or a small marine radio. When traveling on a small yacht, sometimes for 2 to 4 weeks , I can throw these shorts in a washer and wear them with no ironing and they still are presentable at most stops along the water.Like the beer pocket for having a small towel handy when dealing with bait and fish. Zipper is nicely covered so line does not snag on it. Elastic waist works well. Like using a belt to give firm hold up at waist and place to mount sheath for fishing pliers. Rear pocket is nice size for keeping fish gripper handy. Fit is a bit snug around leg for waist size. Shorts look very good so can wear them for every day use as well as fishing.
