Bought this set and painted the square part black to match accents in my bathroom.... Love them, however,. They are a plastic material, not a metal.They don’t stay on the shower curtain rod. Every time I open or close the curtain half of the hooks come off the rod. They look much nicer than the hooks I ultimately got to replace them, but at least they are functionalThe color looks great with the shower curtain. They slide back and forth on the rod very easily.A good weight, well made. Looks nice and the finish matches the brushed nickel finish of bath fixtures. Stays on rod and slides just fine. Perfect!
