This hook removal doodad is really easy to use and it works! If you like to fish and actually catch something once in a while, you'll appreciate this tool. Simply slide the end of the tool over the line and ease it down to where the hook is imbedded, keep the line lightly taut, and push down to release the hook. No worrying about poking around down there in the dark and making a mess of things. I made my own tool like this out of a wire coat hanger, but this dehooking tool is much easier to use and is much easier to get into smaller places.The tool comes in a nice, sealable storage tube that makes it easy to locate in your gear box, too.Definitely recommended.
